General Information

ETC STUDENT HANDBOOK

This handbook provides an overview of ETC policies and procedures emphasizing our high quality training. This student handbook applies to  potential full-time and part-time job seekers. 
ABOUT ETC UNIVERSITY

ETC will prepare students to enter the field of Building Automation Services. Students will have hands-on training and able to identify with software for HVAC controllers that controls the climate of commercial buildings. Troubleshooting will be 80% of each course. Students will be able to troubleshoot HVAC systems and operate system controls which sole purpose is to produce fresh air circulation and energy efficiency. Students will be graded on attendance, completed assignments, and class participation. At the end of the course, there will be certificates earned. After overall training is completed, there will be employment assistance.
OUR MISSION

ETC University makes the education of automation technology accessible to all students or adults from diverse backgrounds to develop professional training. Our institutional values believe in academic quality and committed to high quality professional training. All students will have an opportunity to achieve their personal goals.
ADMISSIONS

Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5 pm to 8:00 pm. Materials will be provided as well as some transportation. Class will be on social media, ETC website and through one stop job assistance. The first ten students will be the full class and there will be a waiting list for those that are interested after the class is filled. The determination of these classes will be a graded assessment test of basic, math, reading, and comprehension.
